A student-run FIRST Robotics Competition team building robots, building community, and turning six weeks of chaos into something that (mostly) works on the field.
“Designed to let members of the community reach out and branch into STEM.”
Lost In Translation is a FIRST Robotics Competition team based in Perth, Western Australia, competing as Team 10342. We were founded in 2024 and took our robot to our rookie FRC season in 2025, backed by Rockwell Automation and Scotch College.
Every season we take on the FRC build challenge from scratch — design, code, wire, and drive a competition robot in six weeks — while growing a team culture built on collaboration, curiosity, and getting more students into STEM.
A young team, but not an empty trophy case — here's what we've brought home so far.
Follow our season from regional qualifiers to Perth's own off-season playoffs.
